About middle speaker connection

Some BMW car has a middle speaker (dash speaker) , In this case, it has some noise in the speaker in Dual-Zone mode (using OEM music + Android GPS at the same time). Below is the solution for this problem.

Note: It work well when using Android music + Android GPS (non Dual-zone mode)

How to check if the car with the middle speaker?

If the car has a cover on the dashboard (photo below), it might be a middle speaker under the cover. But you need to check if it really has a speaker inside or not, maybe it is just a cover only.

You can remove the cover and check it, or just put the phone on top of the cover and record the music or navigation voice, that is easy to know if there is a real speaker inside or not.

 To resolve the noise problems, there are 2 solutions.

1, Solution NO.1: Offer the power cable with middle speaker connector (As default offering)

We offer the power cable with middle speaker connections.After install it,
when you using OEM radio (such as FM), at the same time, using the Android navigation (like Google maps), at this time, when the navigation sound pop up, the sound from the middle speaker, the FM sound fromm other speakers. 

 

2, Solution 2 : Offer a small speaker as GPS horn (if you need this solution, Please let us know when you place the order)

When in Dual-Zone mode (using OEM music + Android GPS at the same time).
the GPS horn (small speaker）output the sound of Android navigation, the original radio FM output the sound to all other car speakers (including the original middle speaker).

But this solution, you need to find a place to install the small speaker. Thus, if not special request when you order, we offer the solution 1 (with middle speaker connection) as default, if you like the solution 2 (small speaker), please let us know when you made the order. Thanks.
