I have installed this 8.8" android screen this week and So far I am satisfied of this purchase. I got the built in carplay version . Hifimax has been outstanding in dealing with me from day one.I got all my questions answered before I decide to go ahead with the payment. I received precious advise regarding the shipment and handling fees ,the technical support is simply brilliant .My device has been set to my specific vehicle all I had to do is to install ,plug in the cables and power on. The only problem I encountered was with the 4g sim card slot.Unfortunalately I could not get the android screen to detect the sim.Paul tried is outmost to find a technical solution in vain as it might be weak soldering on the card. Paul offered a return with refund,shipping of the pcb or a compensation. I accepted the last one as I wasn't prepared to remove the unit and wait another 2 weeks. I can use my phone mirroring via Bluetooth or via usb but I prefer using the built in carplay via a hot-spot from my phone and it's just splendid .I have access to all my apps with no fuss.
