When you order the aftermarket Android Screen for BMW 1 series E81 E82 E87 E88 (2006-2012), you should you pay attention to below points:


If your car without a factory screen, it means the car just has storage, then you can order  [B251], in this case, we offer an iDrive knob.

If your car with factory screen is CCC menu, then order [B261]
while if your factory screen is CIC system, then you should order the [B271]
The factory iDrive knob can work in both the android menu and the factory menu.

How to replace factory BMW 1 series E81 E82 E87 E88(2006-2012) auto radio with aftermarket navigation Android Screen?

Installation steps:


1: Remove the trim panel    2, Remove the AC vents

remove the trim panel and AC vents from bmw 1 series

3: Remove the 2 screws in the front of factory monitor   4: Remove the 2 screws on the back of factory monitor

remove the screws so that to take off the factory monitor

5，The 2 screws on the back of factory monitor showed as below photo   6，Remove the factory monitor (turn to the right and then pull up)

pull up the factory monitor after removed the screws

7，Remove the AC control panel   8，Disconnect 2 connections on the back of AC control panel

remove the AC control panel and disconnect two connections on the back

9: Remove 2 screws and take out the factory radio head unit   10: Remove all cables on the back of factory radio head unit

remove the two screws and take out the factory radio and disconnect all harness on the back

11: Move two optical fiber cable from the factory harness  12: Insert the 2 optical fiber cable to our power cable (female connector)

move two optical fiber from the factory harness and insert to our power cable

13, Connect our power cable （male) to factory harness  14, Connect the power cable (female) to the factory radio  and connect all other factory harnesses, then put it back and install the head unit

connect our power cable to factory harness and factory radio head unit

15, Run the power cable, GPS antenna, USB, RCA cable to the back of our android screen, connect all of them, also connect the LVDS, and can power on the unit, to test if all cables were well connected or not. 16, Install our android screen

connect the power cable and other cables and install the android screen to the car
