Installation for BMW F20 F21 F23 Navigation GPS upgrade Android Screen

Replacing factory BMW 1 series F20 F21 F23 factory radio and CD system with
aftermarket navigation Android screen is very popular in recent years.


No matter you have a BMW 1 /2 Series F20/F21 (2011-2016), or BMW 2 Series F23 Cabrio (2013-2016), you can install the same Android screen with navigation system.  Because they have the same dashboard. Installation is very easy, just plug and play.

Downlaod the installation wire-diagram as below:

 



Left-hand drive car choose this one: B211

Right-hand drive model choose this one: B231

 

Installation Steps:


1: Remove the AC panel. 2, Remove 2 connections from AC panel

remove the air-conditioner panel and remove the 2 connectors from the panel



3: Remove the 4 screws 4: The CD panel, Factory display, the cover on the bottom can be taken out after the screws were removed



5: Remove 2 screws and take out the CD host 6: Remove the cables (LVDS) from factory LCD

remove the screws and take out the CD host, remove the connectors from factory LCD



7: Remove the original power harness from the CD host 8: Connect our cable (one side) to the factory connector

Remove the original harness from the CD host   and connect our cable to factory harness



9, Insert our power cable (another side) to CD host) 10, Connect the power cable for our display (this cable go though the inner box and up to the back of our screen

connect the power cable to CD host and connect the power cable for our new Screen



11, The power cable goes up to the back of our screen 12, Connect the power cable to our screen, also connect the LVDS to our screen

13, You can power on the unit, to see if connections (power cable, LVDS) go well or not 14, Connect the GPS antenna

Power on the unit, to test if connections, connect the GPS antenna



15, Connect the AUX 16, Connect the AUX (under armrest box)

Connect the AUX cable, an other side of AUX connect to the AUX Port



17, Recover the car dashboard, the installation finished
