Perfect fit, excellent performance, my only issue was strictly a personal taste one. Would’ve loved if we had the option of having the OEM case look/material and chromed instead of silver ring. An absolute must for any r58 update.

Only reason I didn't give 5 star is that unit gas gauge backlight is very dim. But everything else works great so very happy with my purchase. Would definitely purchase from this supplier again.

2013 mini cooper s r56. This was a perfect fit I am in California so I purchased a SIM card from my local carrier Verizon and was able to activate 4g services on this device. Any concerns or questions Paul was extremely fast on responding. No issues with the unit everything is fast and responsive and customer support is amazing as well. It also detects open doors gas level and speed. I can watch YouTube or Netflix on my lunch breaks as well.

This company is great. Its hard to trust a web only store front, but Paul and his team are first class. I purchased the systems for my 2011 R56 mini with MPH readout.
First, the package arrived fast and with no damage. All parts as discussed including the HARMON KARDON cable which allows the stock H/K to be used without recoding anything in the car.
Second, the installation videos at Pelican Parts and Paul's you tube videos make this a breeze. I have a lot of experience installing, but still, this made it very easy considering no instructions come in the package, but if you use the above resources and have sone patience, its a breeze.
Third: after installation I noticed the MPH were actually reading in KPH even though it said MPH. I notified Paul and he send a CAN bus update that corrected the problem. Easy usb update at the UI of the system.
Lastly, we are trying to work out setting the clock. On the mini R56 2011, you have to set the clock through the radio. You CANNOT set it through the control stalk on the steering wheel.....at least not in my 2011 base. I have addressed this to Paul and team and hope they can come up with a way to send a clock update on the CAN bus with an applet or enable the radio to "push" time to the vehicle on the bus. we will see. This is the only downside I see.....the rest is awesome and functions great.
Overall: Exceptional systems and service from this company and their team. If you are looking to upgrade your mini with this system, don't hesitate...you will not be disappointed. df

Amazing unit and very easy to install, just plug and play. There are no instructions but I found several videos on YouTube just in case you need a little help.
The seller is very responsive and will answer any questions you may have, this unit is the best I found and well worth the money.

Great upgrade from factory screen unit, android system with lots of features, navigation is ready to use once got it installed, bluetooth plays clear music and there are no problems with bluetooth phone calls, steering wheel controls works without additional programming. Overall, it works well and looks great.
